And in Trieste, tomorrow, Nazis will be allowed to mess the town. The town’s responsible people seem to never have listened to any lesson in history during their school years and are apparently unable to understand what’s happening.
Fortunately there is still a civil society, protesting tomorrow as a broad coalition of associations, labour organisations, churches, and political parties, against fascists marching in. Openly confessing fascists in Italy are few yet, but if they are not rejected by an overwhelming part of the society, their number will grow, and some day it could be too late.
